The Vegan Table: Tempeh Bacon

I made tempeh bacon again!  This time I used real maple syrup, and it WAS different from agave.

I didn’t marinate the tempeh this time though I covered the slices with the marinate.  Turned out to be okay, not too salty.  My sister thought my previous tempeh bacon was too salty.
